After classical studies, he frequented the Accademy of Stuttgart. In
this period he started to paint and to work with art and crictic
reviews. During the Seventies he refused the neodada instances and
steril conceptual expressive shapes. He worked as scene-painter and made some exhibitions in Germany and
one in Italy, in Macerata. In 1980 he was at the Pallazzo delle Esposizioni of Rome with other
european artists. From 1983 to 1984 he was in the USA and in Canada and he
introduced his works in New York and Toronto. In 1996 Rainer was visiting lecturer in Berlin and in Dusseldorf. He
also arranged exhibitions at the University of Stutgart and the
University of Heidelberg. After an exhibition in Los Angeles he got in touch with american,
european and oriental artists with the purpose to give life to a group
with the same aestetic and operative aims. This project had maden concrete through the sign of the Manifesto
Metarationality. You can find his works in many collections in Europe, USA and
Canada.
